Juneau

unday morning we pulled into Juneau after steaming north from Seattle for two nights and a day. This would be a day that was most busy with shopping in downtown Juneau, a trip by floatplane to Taku Glacier and lunch at the lodge there, and some good times for the guys afterwards at Red Dog Saloon followed by another fantastic dinner aboard the ms Amsterdam after we set sail later in the day.

We took a lot of photos and this page is the Juneau page. There are two others for our day in Juneau:

Taku Glacier Lodge

It's way up there

Pulling into Juneau - others have arrived before us

Pulling into Juneau after having been at sea for about 36 hours

We have two screws - see how we know?

Juneau is off on our starboard side

Juneau is getting closer

And closer
And even closer
Docking in Juneau

There's one in every city, we guess

How many city blocks are we? Answer - a lot of them
Arden had been talking about this place since we left Daytona

He changed the sign on the tip jar every 15 to 20 minutes

Everything on the wall at the Red Dog Saloon was dead
Where the boys are Back after a busy day - what's for dinner?
It's another great dinner aboard the Amsterdam
