rden and Carol visited Arden's family near Tacoma on Wednesday before arriving in Seattle at the hotel on Thursday. In their travels they picked up four bottles of local wine, which the hotel bar was kind enough to allow us to share along with some finger food that they prepared for us in their kitchen.

We spent the evening with growing anticipation of the next day's departure for Alaska aboard our cruise ship ms Amsterdam.
